Henry, my intent is to try to be helpful here.

You have such a tremendous reservoir of knowledge. And everyone benefits from you're sharing it.

However, I feel, you take umbrage just a tad too quickly, maybe misunderstanding requests for a more honest -- upside and downside --discussion of LGND that so many of us would like to see as a personal challenge to you.

It isn't.

I'm surprised that with an academic background you tend to get locked into a position, almost a mission statement.

I think this 'locked into positions' tends to bring on the degrading personal business posts on this thread that everyone is tiring of. There is much too much personal business, not 'task related' talk on this thread. Not that it hasn't been spirited and entertaining. But perhaps Torben's invoking the Delphi for a little more considered discussion here would be of benefit. BTW I thought his Wednesday morning Greek lessons with positively inspired! And I miss them! Torben, come back! Try it again!

I for one would like to hear from others with more finance background that myself, just what kind of situation are we, investors in the biotech sector, finding ourselves these days. I would find this more useful than complaints that 'the Street' just doesn't get it accompanied by the usual rah, rah stuff.

Who knows? Maybe even I might increase the dosage of my 'estrogen suppressor (sic) pills' and try to behave more civilly.

Grace happens.

But we have to work at it sometimes.

Nancy

PS. And Andrew, please don't rush in to screen content for Henry. Henry's a big boy and has survived the 'knowledge factory' of academe. He should know how to take care of himself without all his calls being screened.
