Nancy, As I have said previously, finance is not my area. I did upload portions of a very recent H&Q report on why Biotechs were depressed and why they thought that a rally was just around the corner.

I do think that LGND has the best pipeline in the business and the street really doesn't know how to value it. Biotechs are entering into a new era, and I expect the successful Biotechs to be VERY successful. There are still too many companies out there and there will be more failures (by others of course).

Up till now, its been easier and more profitable to invest in larger companies that benefit from continued inflows into the market. However, these big and safe stocks are getting very pricey, and I expect a rotation into Biotechs (which, as you know, are still depressed).

If the analysts' projections of income are anywhere close to reality (and I do think that the numbers are low), then LGND long term investors will do very well (and I expect the rewards to begin very soon).

It's clear that some investors are getting tired of waiting, which I think is a VERY good sign.
