DJ; RE:" Bot full amount of EU stocks/warrants "
Good luck to you, Janko. Like Jrgen, I've rotated out into cash for the most part during the last few weeks. (My only non-trading "purchase" was 300s INTC @ 74.25) I'll leverage this if, as Berney points out, "the Intel locomotive starts pulling the freight" again.
Interesting article in today's Herald Tribune, DJ. The top performing equity funds for each country were listed:
US: Mathews Int'l Korea +51 % UK: Save & Prosper Korea +76 % France: Oddo Korea Strategy +73% Germany: DIT Italien +46% Switzerland: CS Equity Korea +43%
In the USA, the WEBS Spain captured the #4 spot, +38% and the WEBS Italy got #7, +34%
The average fund performance for the quarter for each country was:
US: +10.97% UK: +14.7% France: +17.2% Germany: +16.1% Switzerland: +13.8%
Which sucks - the average professional MM couldn't beat SPY or the WEBS for their own country's market. I made > 20% after taxes, so I'm happy. I've learned a lot in the last 6 months. I'd like to thank you and Juri and Tommy and Berney and Bob for helping me, too.
I wish I had more time to do this. My practice takes me away every 2-3 weeks, for 2-3 weeks at a time, on some biz-trip, somewhere. But then again, the interruption does keep me from getting too obsessive (^_^)
