With my usual modesty. Just to show this whole issue is not really new and these sudden revelations of Dome and Asensio were foreknown and the issues well dealt with. This byline was well into the matter by then.

"CRYSTALLEX COMMENCES ACTION IN THE SUPREME COURT OF VENEZUELA TO
ENFORCE OWNERSHIP RIGHTS OVER THE CRISTINAS 4 & 6 CONCESSIONS"

VANCOUVER, April 25

Crystallex International Corporation announced that its Venezuelan unit, Inversora Mael, C.A., yesterday commenced an action in the Supreme Court of Venezuela seeking a ruling requiring the Minister of Energy and Mines (MEM) to fully recognize its ownership of the Cristinas 4 & 6 concessions.

The court action seeks, among other things, declarations as to the nullity of past actions taken by the MEM that failed to recognize Mael's rights as owner, including:

# the denial by the MEM of Mael's applications for the renewal through the year 2014 of the Cristinas 4 & 6 alluvial gold concessions and the MEM's statements that the concessions either have expired or were forfeited: and

# the granting by the MEM of vein and alluvial copper concessions over Cristinas 4 & 6 to Corporacion Venezolana de Guayana (CVG).

Mael's court application follows upon a ruling of the Supreme Court of Venezuela issued on April 15, 1997 ordering publication in Venezuela's Official Gazette of the notice of transfer of the Cristinas 4 & 6 concessions to Mael. The validity of the transfer to Mael had previously been confirmed by rulings of the Supreme Court of Venezuela issued in 1991 and 1996. These rulings also declared the nullity of resolutions of the MEM denying Mael's right to publication of the transfer in the Official Gazette and provided that the legal effect of the rulings is to be taken as of 1986.

In addition to the notice of transfer, the Supreme Court ordered publication in the Official Gazette of the April 15, 1997 ruling, its previous 1991 and 1996 rulings and the 1986 assignment agreement through which Mael acquired the Cristinas 4 & 6 concessions.

Yesterday's court application is in furtherance of Crystallex's previously announced intention to continue seeking the enforcement of its ownership rights.

Crystallex International Corporation is a gold mining and exploration company. The Company's strategy for growth is to develop its portfolio of properties in South America as well as to diversify geographically by investing in producing or near-producing projects and by exploring properties of merit in other areas of the world.

CMN: And when they DO win in court which looks likely they will have a powerful hold on 25% of Placer Dome's worlwide reserves..which is more than an ounce.. I think their stock will go up.. what do you think? It is times like these, when my crystal clarity of opinion on future events that can make subscribers lots of money if they listen, that I sadly wonder as well why they would take any other service.. No other newsletter writer on the planet has come out and stated it's a buy .. never mind my horn and its rooti-toot-toot, when there are ducks to shoot, at your boot, the smuggness of the pointer's moot.
