Bobby, it is my understanding that the Amherstburg facility is a working Hog farm. The hogs are not there for demonstration, but for profit. In addition to raising hogs, they have equipment that converts food wastes to liquid feed, which is used to feed the hogs. I am assuming that they would get a tipping fee for receiving the food waste. I believe that about 70% of the cost of raising a hog, is in its feed, so anyone using this system would have a huge advantage over their competitors.

I have also heard Amherstburg is set up to house and train any potential customers who would like to purchase a ROP franchise. This may be what you are referring to.
