I think ISDN is a mistake.

I have been trading using the exact system you are looking at on a 28.8 modem. My account is with MBTrading, which is basically an outlet for Southwest Securities. We now can work our orders using ARCA which is awesome all by itself, and we also use Island and soes and we can broadcast or preference directly thru selectnet as well.

The feed is thrown in for free and the trades are 18.95 for up two thousand shares, if you make fifty trades a month. If you trade less than that then it costs a bit more, but still quite reasonable IMO.

I have been trading this way since January and I am quite pleased with the system I am using. I would venture to say that the tools I utilize now or equal to or better than anything on earth at this time.

And I like the people I deal with.

good luck,

oh executions when they occur are confirmed in a second or less,

execution times can vary for the simple reason that we work our orders so for instance if i want to go long i may chose to join the bid and wait for some one to puke shares up. That means I may have a live order out for a while depending on several factors, islnd is working great for getting fills on stocks with low tier sizes or stocks that are heavily soesed and have long soes lines.
