The company was to develop a set-top box, in March 97 the product was still in R&D stage while Microsoft had already acquired Web Tv and many other major companies where marketing there box. By vertue of the fact that more money would have been needed the company's management decided to abandon the project and to restructure the company as to maximize shareholders value. As we can see they did a fantastic job in doing so as the company is partnering with companies like IRIDIUM, Westinghouse Mitsubishi etc.
