Vehicle works. Consultant has converted a childs Jeep, which can carry a small adult, to be powered with Astris Alkaline Fuel Cell. The hydrogen fuel tank holds about 8 hours of fuel. Potential investors are enthused. Next would be a golf car, fork lift and a small car. Wouldnt it be faster to add power to a alkaline fuel cell (Astris) than to shrink a PEM cell (Ballard) from a bus to a small car? The alkaline fuel cell does not freeze - it is been used in the space shuttle. Chicago buses when idle must be held in heated garages.
