Voice activation software has been around for 3-4 years. IBM has their "Simply Speaking" version on most of their Ambra and Inspirati computers. It seems to be only a gimmick. I don't know of many people who use it, in fact I can't think of one. It may have specialty use in law offices, medical offices, etc (where Kolvox successfully marketed "LawTalk" and "DocTalk" in the past) but these uses are peanuts in the overall scheme of things and won't rescue Corel from their problems. IMHO, this is just one more "rabbit" Cowpland is trying to "pull from his hat" to try to appease shareholders, who have been beaten up pretty badly, do to his misguided adventures trying to take on Microsoft, and pioneer Java. Regards.
