Questions on LOR vs. IRIDF:

I would like to learn more on the differences between Loral and Iridium. I would greatly appreciated if any experts out there could summarize the differences between Loral and Iridium, advantages and disadvantages. Also give advantages to LEO and GEO satellites. It seems to me Iridium would be in operation at least 6 months prior to Globalstar.
