<<OT>> Law, Ohhh, You Should've Been Here Yesterday...
Could've used your straight-shooter-ness around here yesterday. Having not been thread-bound last weekend because of my little Vermont/NH/Mass journey, I decided to do penance this weekend.
But, on second thought, it's better you were out in un-cyber-land. Un-cyber-land has its bullies, many driving Dodge Rams and vying for position in the far left lane. Plus, in shrimper bars and taverns called "Doug's Dugout" or "Eve's Place", sure, there are folks who bluster in and get to droning on about this or that. But, at least, they have the excuse of being drunk. And, after all, I didn't pay a $125 cover to hear it. But, here, here among the cyber-scenti, what is the excuse for bad manners or the drip-drip-drip of johnny-one-note-ness? Occasionally, we need "virtual humane darts" that immobilize and render a poster mute--even or especially me--so there can be some other air in the room. (Tim Luke, I misunderstood you. Come back.) I'm serious about this... in my usual passive-aggressive way. I wonder if the Dwyers could whip up some "virtual humane darts"... they seem to be capable of delivering just about every other possible feature... bless them.
Shifting gears...
Interesting bits from New York Times article:
* 60% of Americans don't own ANY stocks at all.
* Fully 50% of all stocks are owned by only 1%.
Oh, well, Law, unless things clear up with the coming week, I think I'll just stay off-line until, at least, after earnings. I figure, by then, things will be clearer and, hopefully, more interesting...
Best Regards All Long-SEEKers,
