Kevin, Don't feel so bad. I mean all we wanted was ONE thing to be completed. To gain credibility. To shut up a lot of whining. We have that now, so now we can BRUSH off any more complaining about issues such as "Ira never follows through on his promises". Nothing will be easy, and we still have to watch closely.. but let's let the man do the work and have reasonable time tables. We need to be patient-- this is the business world. Mergers, aquisitions et al take TIME. Everyone should listen to the last CC if you havent done so yet. Ira does not hype; he is straight and factual and down to earth. Sometime in the next 12 days we should have an announcement of an agreement with ATXI (the window closes April 30), so just imagine the clamor when that goes through. IMHO, it will go through and is in fact basically done. Ira commented on the pride factor of any company losing its business and how hard that is.. to be swallowed by another company and to disengage from a business they had been trying to work on for years to make successful. Its hard for the people at ATXI, and that is perhaps why we are seeing these press releases from their side. People will be losing jobs over there so let's be respectful of that while we look out for our own monetary interests. I think we are all so gung ho looking at our own portfolios that you need to take a few minutes to remember that its not all numbers and ratios, and that real people are involved. An aside: Anna Love cracked me up on the CC when she said "We are going to need an Ira Monas Fan Club." Ira's reponse (while laughing) " I don't know about that."
