Elmo,
>> .. what Novell management has done that warrants legal action against them? Misrepresentation? Gross mismanagement? <<
A bit of both Elmo, a bit of both.
>> Shareholders are willing to sell their stock at a reduced price for some reason that escapes me for the moment. Do they sell based on their broker's advice? <<
At this point in time it escapes me also. Especially with my 9,000 shares on the line. I don't think (IMO) it is on thier broker's advice, as my broker is advising against it. Although, she is not happy with the amount I have in this company :))
>> It seems that Novell is trying to create business and technological alliances that will benefit the stock, if not tomorrow, then in a reasonable time in the future. What positive things can we say about what the company is doing to provide a favorable outlook for the smaller investor (not institutional) so that they will hold onto their stock and not sell at these reduced prices? <<
THAT is the $64,000 question Elmo. Don't think I haven't tried my damnest off of this BBS and privately. I have had NUMEROUS private conversations, and look at my web page, you will see what at least "I" have tried to do. In addition, probably EVERY major trade rag, WSJ, NY Times, and CNN on the web has gotten some form of mail from me. So your guess is as good as mine.
I replayed Paul Fiondella's post because I felt it expressed a lot of what people are feeling here. And that is "something's fishy is going on", and really, it seems they DON't give a damn about the shareholders. Because if they did, then we'd have John Thomas come down from his ivory tower and say something.
You tell me what the numbers are from the time of Frankenberg's departure until now. (I mean that rhetorically, Elmo).
Something's gotta break soon. These guys cannot repeat CANNOT function as businesss as usual, and we'll get around to it mode much longer. Thay do NOT have much time (if any left).
So you ask me what what warrent legal intervention. Well, what can I say.... Yeah, GROSS MISMANAGEMENT.
Regards,
Joe... |
