The challenge, Greg, is indeed whether someone is open to change. Someone so firmly entrenched in hatred of others is difficult to change. I would say that is probably impossible over the medium of the Internet.
For example, would a trip to the death camps in Europe change someone with a revisionist's view of the Holocaust? Perhaps, perhaps not. I believe that is impossible to mediate over posts on SI.
I'm open to suggestions on how to deal with someone filled with so much hate, other than direct confrontations via posts. Ignoring hate filled posts do not make them go away. Answering them, as others have tried to do in the past, via kind talk to sort out differences, did not help either. Even those Christians who are most fervent in their beliefs and piousness are ultimately called heretics and Zionist sympathizers by Vidrine, traitors to Christianity.
Any answers you can promote to quell the "war of words" would be appreciated.
