Hi I did not see this news anywhere but in BARRONS on the net can someone confirm this that SUN backed out of its deal with INTC about the MERCED chip and there is speculation that SUN did it cause the 64-bit chip is not at all what INTC is promising it to be So now maybe it may take 2-3 years for INTC just to develop the chip so maybe from 1999 to 2004 it may only be on bate testing was there any discussion on this already? P.S. I don't know how to cut and past from the BARRONS site, I don't know why it wont work maybe cause the whole page is posted as a graphic so please read the article yourself canal
