HI 246810 - I think there may be some slight misunderstandings possible here: MM's shorting and people here being short are 2 different things. Your explanation of MM short is OK - Some people here use the wording shorting for not expecting being long in the stock. People are much to concerned about MM shorting stocks - IMO MM's are pretty busy at all taking care of trading and thereby earning their bit between bid and ask. IMO MM shorting mainly happens when trading are hot and they by mistake sells shrs that are no more in inventory. You wrote: does not change EPS just earnings I think you meant the opposite ;-) A reverse split does not change the earnings just the EPS. Kr Jens
