Such people can often be recognized by their fascination with penguins. In my first years in Milan I was astonished to read in the paper one day that a sex shop had been raided (they don't do taht anymore; perfectly respectable trade now) and 30 "inflatible penguins" had been confiscated. There were no photos. I have never really understood...
