Tim, you can safely delete those 2 files along with all other files in your cache directory. The .hst is a history of where you have been and the cache directory (as you probably know) is temporary in nature anyway. If you have already tried this and still have the problem (which is likely), other than re-installing the netscape software, I am afraid its over my head too. Well good luck , Donn
