Here is a link to a 4/20/98 article that discusses some DRAM and OEM co's leaning towards SLDRAM instead of Rambus. I believe its worth reading the whole article. Hopefully most of this has already been reflected in last weeks price drop. techweb.com On a brighter note, Intel's developer site still indicates Rambus is the future for its next gen processors.
