Ronald, I don't know if AMD has compatibility problems or not. What I do know is that my business depends on PC's, Intel processors do work, and that for a benefit of under $500 per PC I will not take any risk. For the same reason I stick with known brands. For me to try a different processor, it would have to offer performance advantages over Intel, not price. But I am very glad than AMD is out there holding down prices......
