As a PFE shareholder, and a pharmacist I am pleased with the high demand for Viagra. But I must temper my enthusiasm for the moment because of these factors. 1. Tremendous media hype has produced a lot of demand. The problem does exist for many. 2. There is little or no sampling of this product therefore all new use results in a written prescription...ergo more prescriptions than normal. 3. High early demand may not have as many
beneficiaries as predicted. I'm waiting for the refills to see how happy the users are with the benefits. 4. As the drug gets used beyond the 3,000 to 5,000 clinical testers the risk of unknown side effects exists. Much of this information will be available in the next few months. I hope its all positive. For me it'll be a Win-Win situation.
