I certainly am familiar with Berkshire. Never could afford a single share of their stock, but did get in on the IPO of mini-Berk (:o)

The Toronto listing is probably totally on the up and up. If you looked at that list you saw many American companies that are also traded on the Canadian exchanges. It just makes it easier for Canadians to buy and sell ( at least from a personal comfort level ) as they are not dealing with an unknown "foreign" exchange. The Canadian licensee probably simply said he wanted it listed in Canada if he was going to pay that kind of money for a license.

Would not hurt to call them though.
