I just found this site.....I may get flamed, but let me give you my experience. I "lurked" for about a month before I joined. It was hard to find specific threads, and who to believe. I joined one day when I was home sick. (Trial Membership). I thought - what the heck - what could the membership possibly give me that the free "lurking" could not? Well, after the first day, I have never looked back. I sent in my $$. I don't post very much because I am new at this stock "game", if you will. Now, I don't like all the namecalling, flaming, hurt feelings, etc. that goes on here, and it does slow down the process of finding useful info, but you just have to learn to go around those people. I don't know that I EVER would have joined SI if I was not able to get a trial membership. And, since I have joined, I have learned how to do more useful DD. I hope to be a real contributor someday soon.
