Unterberg ups estimates; Investors Bus Daily now has "A" accum/distr.
C.E. Unterberg not only increased rating to "Buy" but increased 1998 estimate to $l.l5 and $l.40 for 1999 (both still about the lowest on the street, but nice increases). Understand from source that $1.40 is believed by the analyst to be quite conservative, but the thought is it can always be increased.
Interesting that BancA/RobSteph increased estimate for 1998 to $1.17 and reshuffled quarterly numbers for 1999 resulting in slight increase for 1999 to $1.42.
I understand additional coverage/upgrades may be in the works.
But the best news of all may be that the technicals are finally beginning to reflect the good fundamentals--for the first time in many months the accumulation/distribution rating in the Monday April 20 edition of Investors Business Daily is "A", the highest rating. This has historically been a highly reliable indicator confirming an upward trend. The latest example is Cymer (CYMI) which went to "A" within the last 4-5 weeks and has increased during that period some 50%. Also, those who are short or thinking of shorting don't with an "A" accumulation/distribution. ZRonz.
