To All:

Talk about anti-climatic!!!!!!!

Myself, along with perhaps many others following this thread, have just had the rug pulled out from underneath us. Anticipation of Syntroleum's IPO had us all licking our chops.......but it was not to be.
I think the merger with SLH Corp. has caught many of us off guard. Not quite sure what to make of it. the masses have retreated to the side-lines, trying to make some sense of it.
I had been following the Syntroleum story since last fall, after reading a write up in a newsletter called the Oil & Gas Energy Report(or something like that). Does anybody know what the guy that wrote this report is saying about this merger?
Although this merger does not change Syntroleum's business propects one iota, it appears to have dulled the attractiveness of Syntroleum.
There are some excellent posts on this thread by people in this line of work. What is your take on all of this? As for Sasol getting the nod from Chevron, let us not forget that Syntroleum has signed some impressive names themselves. If Sasol has been chosen the "heir apparent" for GTL tech, why has the price remained flat the past 3 days?

ps: nice thread you all have going here. low key.
