I'm really surprised this latest smack hasn't stirred up a comment from you. Maybe you're not home tonight.
Tom --
I missed it so went back and read it. Several thoughts come to mind: first, there's a negative tone to the article so for that I'm glad NN's not mentioned. Second, in some cases the writer didn't choose the most knowledgeable posts to quote, so the validity's thrown into question. And, third, I suspect some networking writers don't know the Canadians and throw NN in with the big boys, many of them foreign: Siemens, NEC, Alcatel, Fujitsu, and so on. After all, even though they're a networker, it's easy to confuse them dressed as they are in Carrier Class clothes.
Now, this is all by way of putting a band-aid on the real problem: the fact NN is ignored far too often. Some one said the company would get respect with a few sequential good quarters, and I have to think whoever said it is right.
When the numbers start escalating, analysts will act as though they discovered the company single-handedly.
