A thought. HBO is now a part of Time Warner. HBO just bought a DST system. Time Warner bought one or more a year or so ago. CNN is also part of Time Warner. They are buying some Sony units for evaluation. They may not have bought Ampex units for evaluation because they have information from the other divisions. So hopefully Sony will come up short and CNN will buy only Ampex DST's for the final configuration. Also can anyone tell from the employment info what is up. Maybe upgrading the head and tape performance on upcoming DST units? Maybe that new head design they were working on a year or go?
