I have no information to confirm or dispute this. However it would make sense. Zitel is out of cash. If they were unable to raise more cash by selling more stock to the Cayman Island guys or other investors, and they are unable to get a loan, then they must sell off assets to stay in business. Trouble is they don't have any assets, except Matridigm which the market thinks is worth something or Zitel would be a penny stock.

My guess is they sell their Matridigm stock to BRCP, which already owns a small part of Matridigm.

Afterwards, Zitel would have cash to invest in some new business. Zitel stock would fall considerably, but at lease they get to stay in business for a while.

Make sense?
