Sire -- excuse me for jumping in on this, but.... it's not really a matter of "belief".
The amount factual reserch data behind what CK says is rather staggering. Don't walk into a debate with her on this issue unless you are well armed with solid facts (not beliefs or gut feeelings) to back your statements up.

I see by your posting history that you have been over on the IOM thread. You might want to ask some of the old time regulars over there what happend to IOM profits in 3Q '97. You'll see that Zip production was severly limited for three weeks because one supplier had a problem with one part. That issue got me looking into just-in-time-devlivery which led me to the y2k issue, which led me to TAVA (TOPRO back then). I didn't believe or like what I was reading, but was blown away by the level and amount of solid research on the thread. After doing my own DD and getting a real eye-opener about pending y2k *glitches*, I dumped all my iom and bought bunch of TAVA.

Stay skeptical and do your DD, but CK and the other TAVA heavyweights are not to be dismissed lightly. They've done their research. And, while there is plenty of y2k hype out there, there is also a very real problem.
