Yes. And others using Apples OS will only be good for Apple. They
can try to keep their hardware sales by preventing other hardware
firms, but that wont work. It is Microsoft that sells Intel chips,
not the opposite. Its about getting market share, get the OS out
there near and far, so the number of users will grow, so that more
new application writers will include Apple OS. In fact, if Apple
decided to give Rhapsody away with source code (as Netscape is
doing their Communicator), then it would penetrate rather quickly
across all platforms I believe. It could outdo NT if it was source
ware, and Bill would really get comb for his hair. There is nothing
Jobs would rather do, so I predict that just that will happen, even
though he has always wanted a closed system. He who has the OS
market gets to make the money.
