TO ALL: Briefing's take on the coming week: While earnings news shouldn't derail the market, we are concerned by the overextended nature of our short-term market indicators... Investor sentiment is abnormally bullish, a sign that we are close to a near-term top... In addition, the divergences between the indices and their moving averages are historically wide... What these tools tell us is that the market is in for at least a 5%-7% correction over the next couple of weeks... Nothing too serious but you might want to consider locking in some profits now so that you can take advantage of the pullback to do some aggressive bargain hunting.
