For the record...

Not to be a bore, but I want to make something clear on my perspective vs. shorting activity. While there is nothing wrong with shorting, there seems to be a strong lure for powerful players to engage in activities to ENSURE that their short targets go down in price.

This is in no way idle speculation on my part. As I think some of you know at least one individual seems to have lost his job among questions of his involvement in illegal and unethical activities associated with shorting IAIC and other companies. Evidence discussed with me by by several parties indicate that this man lied to obtain personal data, had people sneak through trash cans to obtain insider information, and may have worked to convince friends to misrepresent facts in articles. This is the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

On a smaller scale, there are many people who jump around the web supporting their short picks with lies and innuendo.

Shorting is fine, the rest deserves further thought.

...........Matt
