On a momentum trade it is all about speed...in and out as fast as you can with a profit...it is hard to do without Level 2, and some brokers dont fill you in time, there are plenty of problems. I filled some at 2 1/8 but the rest at 3, so there is an example how you can get in early and still have a snag.
Momentums are risky, you have to know when to get out for a loss, and never risk what you cannot stand to lose. People always smile when they make money, but cry when they lose. Not all are winners, gotta take it on the chin sometimes. It is like Vegas, you cant go there, lose $$, and get mad that you did. I have lost on a few, but made more on the winners.
