This just hit Yahoo: Financial Intranet seeks acquisitions NEW YORK, April 17 (Reuters) - Internet services company Financial Intranet Inc. said Friday it will hire an investment banking firm to find acquisition or merger opportunities and provide the necessary funding to pursue those opportunities. Financial Intranet said in a press release that it hopes to achieve Nasdaq SmallCap status through any potential acquisitions. ''We expect ... to significantly enhance shareholder value and accelerate the company's rapid rise to the next level of its evolution as a strategic Internet and Intranet market presence,'' said Michael Sheppard, president of Financial Intranet. Financial Intranet is in the process of establishing a proprietary, secured on demand, interactive high-speed video, voice and dedicated data-stream Financial Information Network. .28 bid, .29 ask, up .02 cents on 175,000. Reckon this is another pop to the .31 to .32 level or the prelude to another RUN to the .50 to .56 cent level?
