Marc, we really didn't have to go back to Dec to find Apple bashing posts from Bill. I was looking through the archive researching for Q3 I ran across a number of flames from Jackson around end of Feb. In any case Bill seems to be making a serious effort to get along with the people here in the last couple of weeks so I guess the Most Vicious Poster can take a break.

Now for Q3...
If we can see a 10% sequential revenue growth 1545M and sustained margin of 24.83% then the profit should be around 95M or so. This is excluding the approx 20M one time gain that we may see as the result of ARM IPO.

The question is whether or not a 10% revenue growth is realistic if we want to maintain the margin. We've got the decreasing average unit price against us, but on the other hand the new PB and AIO should bring in a new stream of revenue and decent margin this quarter.

I believe Anderson may be talking about year-to-year in his statement suggesting that revenue may be flat. I wish we have a transcript of the conference call to confirm this. I don't know how much we can rely on history but we had an 8% increase in revenue as well as an increase of margin going from Q2-Q3 in 1997. I think part of the reason for the improvement may have been due to a rebound from the poor performance in Q2 97.
