Many thanks. Yes, LSI is a major ASIC chip producer for CDMA under QCOM license. Note: Have discovered the foundries for the ASIC chips designed by QCOM and sold by QCOM are Intel and IBM. Did read some of the "White Papers" as suggested and seemed like to me (tech challenged as I am) that the DSPs that TXN makes that go into mobile phones are for GSM and TDMA only and zero for CDMA. How in this case can the Motley Fool Evening News claim that TXN supplies one of every two mobile phone chips? As the King of Siam said in the musical, this is a puzzlement. Is TXN in fact frozen out of the CDMA market at present?
