You hit the nail on the head with your analysis of the cash and investments. Having assets that return nothing or just treasury rates will HURT the bottom line.

This stock appreciated quickly with the cyclical nature of the tech stocks and with its rapidly growing revenues 2-3 years ago. The problem is their core revenues, the licensing agreements are stagnating and falling slightly as consumers demand more for less. And NETM just can't seem to develop new products that produce much in revenue. They are aligned with Microsoft which is a definite plus however, net income is suffering as they are spending much cash on R&D for that "new" product. I do not know much about the products they offer and what I am writing here is only my interpretation of their latest quarterly reports. This company grew too fast for its own good and will probable languish for a while under its own weight with too many $$ in assets that aren't earning them much. However, I believe they will have support and bottom out around 5$. Do some more research and let me know what you think, I haven't bought any yet but I am thinking about it.
