It was promised to be delivered about 1 year after the initial release . The fact that is was 85% Java (15% Delphi) was used as a confirmation that it was technically possible.

There is a survey on BORL's web page that suggests Delphi Object Pascal compiled to Java Virtual Machine might be in the works, which could help in the port.

BTW, I recently received BCB3. It's data inspection and project management are much improved. As much as I like Delphi, lack of true multiple inheritance and operator overloading makes it sometimes difficult to use. Which also makes me wonder about Java. What is your opinion?
