Hi Steve:

Yes, I watched BRCM. I think that all those who got
in on the offering did very well, but all those buying
it for the long term will suffer incredible pain.
The UCLA faculty members who founded the company are good guys,
but no matter how I do the math, I do not get a value
of more than $12 a share for BRCM, assuming it does
very well. This one could be a blood bath if there is
the slightest negative surprise (could go to as low as
$5).

I am expecting to be flamed like hell for this post,
but in spite of all denials, BRCM is a semi stock and
should receive a semi valuations at some point.
The best semis (PMCS, LEVL) get a valuation of
5 to 6 times sales, not 50 times 98 sales. I expect
to see a lot of very angry BRCM stockholders one
or two years from now.

I know you won't agree with this assessment, but I am
really looking forward to checking whether my prediction
comes true one or 2 years from now.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
