robert, if I had any internet stocks I would sell them so fast it would make your eyes blink. Things go in cycles, and imho tech stocks in general and internet stocks in particular are at the peak of their cycle, while imho junior exploration stocks are at the bottom of the trough of theirs. Of the four examples you give, DMW, VEN, YRI, and WSP, I like the latter three very much, they are all well-run professional companies. Vengold is going to end up with a major portion of Lihir, and they'll make money on sub-300 gold. Yamana impresses me with the way they've handled the downturn, and they have a nice property going at the moment as well. And Winspear - well, I've been known to make snide remarks about particular management decisions at times, but at the end of the day I still hold quite a few shares.
I think two years from now we'll be looking back at this time knowing that it was the trough, and wishing we'd picked up a few more under-valued juniors than we did. ..... imho ...... cheers ...... marcos |
