Sire -- I don't think it is a case of either doomsday or no problems. I think there will be disruptions of various magnitudes for varying durations.

I'm interested in looking at how even minor glitches might create ripples of disruptions, and how a population with a lot of already heavily stressed members will respond.

I think it is as irresponsible to not consider viable, basic contingencies as it is to run around yelling about the sky loosing altitude.
