Keep us posted on anything you hear about the trials - if this is what is prompting insider selling, that's pretty ominous. I don't know how often Avalon issues "sell" recommendations - and they don't say why:

April 20, 1998/FOOLWIRE/ -- Arterial Vascular
Engineering (Nasdaq: AVEI) was clamped $1 1/8 to $36 7/16 after Avalon
Research Group reiterated its "sell" recommendation on the developer
of stents and balloons for angioplasty procedures.
