The product probably works but from the article it appears that the EPA clarified definition of regs at the request of a competitor to say that the product needs not only municiple approval but also studies to gain EPA approval. I'm not all that concerned since I don't believe the product is a big part of their production and it seems the study should not be difficult to complete. I had mentioned it because someone else had posted that it applied to the OREX material itself. OREX has done a number of studies to prove its effectiveness and safety in the municiple water system and thus has gotten approvals. No one has ever raised the issue as to the EPA saying that the OREX proceedure should not be allowed. To the opposite, tighter regulation of medical waste has always been cited by the company and analysts as a positive for OREX technology, but I guess one never knows.

Has anyone received the 1997 annual report yet?
