Hi Paul, do you happen to know the PE of Intel at $78 vs $15? My understanding is that back then PE's of 70 were not unusual in the Dow. Also, in 74, Intel must have been a small-cap and thus extreme volatility isn't quite such a surprise as it would be if it fell from $110 to $25 today. Richard
