Dragonfly,

* Iridium is spending $1.1B more.
* Iridium's sats will last ~8 years, though they take a conservative position in their 10K. Globalstar's sats will last ~8 years, though they are only saying 7.
* The only example of a call price we have has them pretty similar, yet the G* mutual admiration society discounts the source. (But we're supposed to believe what you say over the NYT? Suuuuuure.

All the above statements are from your personal opinions. Nobody questions that! I could not see the above statements mentioned anywhere in the IRIDF's 10 K (3/31/98). However, I can find you numerous of references of (G)$0.5 per minute whole sale rate VS. I (no mention of any charge amount); 7 years (G) VS. 5 year (I); (G)2.7 billion and up vs. (I) 5.3 billion and up.

I do not believe you want to claim 10 K stuffs are less reliable than your facts finding efforts.

* Iridium has %90 of their network in orbit, G* has less than %10. The proof is in the pudding, and there's more pudding on one side of the fence.

The other side of the coin may hold true is that the investors do belive that 10% of G's deployment worths more than 90% of I's deployment. What do you think? Another facts finding trip for you?

Brian H.
