If anyone on this thread really IS short GPW, and worried about bursting bubbles, I recommend you take a look at the K-Tel article at

news.com

to see what can happen to shorts before the bubble bursts in a thinly traded company. All stocks peak and retrace, normally 50% for the more speculative variety, which may be what GPW does if there is not a short squeeze, but if there is, then a sort of madness can set in, which we all have to be aware of, and careful not to feed or be susceptible to it ourselves. Right now we certainly aren't in that position, but it could be something to worry over. Because of the thin float, a market maker may have difficulty setting up an orderly and efficient auction and advance under squeeze conditions. Although it might be exciting for all of the longs if that happened, IMO it is not generally good in the long term and tends to attract even more volatility later. I'm hoping for a progression something like CGI Systems (GIB.A - TSE) with less excitement and more staying power.
Just FWIW.
