Adam or Don this is a quote taken from the Yahoo! VRTY thread, and
as I am not in any way knowledgeble on these matters I welcome comment
as to whether,as this poster suggests, that it would just be too expensive for Lotus to rip out the Verity product, and that VRTY really
has them in a corner.max90 the quote

" With regards to Lotus,
You are right. It is a big mess for Lotus if they try to yank out Verity now. If they do it will
definitely delay the shipping of Version 5.0

All the big Lotus Notes customers like E&Y, Procter and Gamble etc. are using Verity
products directly integrated with
notes. Just imagine how much of a change they all have to go through to replace their existing
infrastructure. If Lotus dumps Verity it will definitely create a lot of unhappy customers."
