Thanks James. Naturally, Tier One companies will almost always be the larger companies, but at least as it related to my business, a large company was not necessarily a Tier One company in a particular area of their business. On the other hand, if a company made only modems for instance, and they were clearly the market leader in modems, they would be considered a Tier One company when referring to modems even though they may be a relatively small company. In finance, it may simply have to do with size. I don't know that business. In any case, I think it is safe to assume that they would be either one of the largest in their field or one that was considered a market leader.
