Dan, I'm not "concentrating" my efforts on anyone! It's just that when people like Paul A. get a keyboard in their hands, they tend to try to insult everyone involved on this forum who have "real" information. I've never seen him write anything negative about anyone except those of us who put out names and facts out on the line.
I know for a fact that Paul A. never visited the GIFS offices [at least using his real name]; he has admitted he is short-suited when it comes to Due Dilligence. And then he wants to spend several posts criticizing everyone who has made a positive contribution to the GIFS thread?
Notice, I do not hide behind an initial as does Paul A., nor does Carolyn Bogart. When either of us make a statement, it is from (1) first-hand knowledge (2) research, or (3) an educated guess [and these are usually footnoted]. And if you will notice, we almost always sign out posts; this is my way of saying, "I stand behind what I write."
Paul A.'s remarks makes me personally feel like saying what the hell with all the shareholders. I have spent hours with various officials telling what I knew--and it's not over yet. But when someone like Paul A. seems to try to tear apart everything you say, it makes you wonder: WHY DO IT? Perhaps a policy of: keep what you know to yourself and let the real players get away would work better.
Perhaps you should advise Paul A. to re-direct his focus onto "something useful." I am a relatively new "poster" on the SI; check out my posts and see if they are not usually informative? Carolyn and Tonto are "old pros" at this; to question their integrity or motives is way out of line--IMHO.
And, Dan, if Paul A. is the individual I believe he is, he is deserving of some inquiry; he may be a bigger catch than you envision.
