RE:As I see it, the window of opportunity for Cymer laser is not a huge one(< 5 yrs). The reason Cymer can charge sky-high price on its products is that they are the only supply for a current critical technology. So I am kind of paranoided.

Actually, lasers will be the leading edge for 10 years. Another 10 to 15 years for non-critical layers.

Don't let your paranoia cause you to make an investment decision that you may regret some day.
